The specifics of "Hide and Seek" are still foggy and unclear. All we know is that Ken (MB) created this riff once again in Boston, and launched it from Boston to California via Google Drive. The rest is unclear, and might not ever be clarified.
One bizarre and interesting landmark in the rapid evolution of this song was unusual creation of the guitar solo. Dan had ascended into MB's lair to help MB with something non-KDP related. Before they knew it, the guitar solo was being written and thrashed while MB and Dan were uncontrollably laughing and yelling. It all happened very quickly, as there was only 45 minutes available to write and record this guitar solo. The rest is unclear, but its safe to say there was something in the air that day!
